Ella Wu is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, where she studied theater, and starred in a variety of film and TV productions. After graduating, she made the big move to New York and found her home in the impatient commuter crowds.

In the sparse time she has between The Work, class, and The Day Job, Ella enjoys dancing at studios in and out of Manhattan, rock climbing, and mastering the art of the screenplay. She can be found at various parks and squares, journal in hand, jotting down character studies and faintly absurdist plotlines.

Recently, Ella made her network television debut in the Investigation Discovery series "Shattered". Be on the lookout for updates about the episode's airing! Her latest projects include a Top 10 Selection in AAFL™'s 72Hour Shootout, which has been accepted into a film festival. She also starred in "Lies We Tell Each Other", directed by an old friend and colleague, which garnered a virtual screening and review. Find it here. Last but definitely not least, Ella wrote, directed, and produced her first short, "Patterns". It's the first and last time she will bike 20 miles in a day for a shot.
